Content / aim

In the forthcoming sessions we will be practicing the new levels according to the New Australian guidelines that were published at the beginning of 2022. In regards to teaching the new Asanas, we will be looking on how the understanding of the Asana from the previous levels can be utilised intelligently to progress through the new syllabus. Marina will be  introducing the new levels of Pranayama.
In order to gain understanding of these Asanas as per each syllabus regardless of whether one wishes to continue to upgrade or not a regular attendance of these workshops is necessary. It is important to those who are now being upgraded without ever having to go through the additional assessments to be granted with the new Level 2 or Level 3 certificate, to develop the understanding and the skills prior to teaching those asanas. The focus will be on practice.

Marina Jung holds a Junior Advanced teaching certificate, and has been assessing on assessment committees over the last 13 years across Australia. Marina has taught at Clifton Hill Yoga studio since 2007, teaching classes of all levels and runs Teacher Training courses. Marina is the senior teacher at Clifton Hill Yoga Studio.
