Rita Kreileman
Rita started Yoga to de-stress and build up physical strength and flexibility. Her love for the human body, mind and soul emerges into her Yoga life, as it is the most holistic lifestyle that brings all her interests together in one “method”.
Rita has been practising yoga for 20 years, and teaching for 15 years. She has also completed diplomas in Naturopathy, Nutritional medicine, Medicinal herbs, Regression therapy, and Chakra psychology. Her life is about transformation and living to our fullest potentials.
Rita: “I find that yoga is a life style and a self discipline, it is about awareness and reflection. Yoga is like an alchemical process that progressively transforms our existence from the known to the unknown. Through asana and pranayama practice, we can reflect on weaknesses and strengths, and refine ourselves from the inside-out.”
Rita taught in the Netherlands, Europe, and at the Cairns Yoga Centre, before she came to Melbourne to further deepen her yoga studies. She is a dedicated student of senior teacher Marina Jung, with whom she attends teacher development. Rita practises with the Iyengar Yoga family at the RIMYI in Pune, and attends Iyengar Yoga Association conventions.
