Rita Kreileman

Rita started yoga in 1999 to increase strength and flexibility. She finds Yoga is more holistic than any other lifestyle, which she can adapt to her daily life and the
dynamics of a continuous changing world.

One of Rita’s specific interests is Women’s health through the various stages of life: pregnancy, motherhood, and menopause. She feels humbled and happy to share the many benefits of yoga through the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar and his daughter Geeta Iyengar. She finds harmony in the subtleties between dynamic and
restorative yoga and enjoys sharing her love for yoga with people from different ages, gender, cultures, and abilities.

Rita’s teaching is based on compassion, awareness of body, mind & soul through breath, spinal alignment, mobility of joints, and personal development.

Rita continues her yoga studies with senior teacher Marina Jung, after she successfully completed her IY certification with Peter Scott. She is a practitioner in Naturopathy, Nutrition, Herbal Medicine, and Hypnotherapy when she’s not on her yoga mat. When she’s enjoying her free time, she likes being with good friends, and exploring the beauty of nature.

Rita has taught yoga in the Netherlands (Europe), at the Cairns Yoga Centre (Queensland), and she studies with the Iyengar Yoga family at the RIMYI in Pune (India). She regularly attends IYA conventions in Australia.
