Pregnant women are encouraged to attend the Restore & Renew class with Rita each Saturday afternoon @ 4:30pm.
Alternatively, if they have been attending classes regularly with a teacher at the studio, they can continue at the same class.
During pregnancy there are immense physiological and emotional changes. Prenatal yoga is designed to promote optimal physical and emotional well-being in the pregnant woman and prepare her for childbirth.
Emphasis is placed on posture, strengthening and extension of the spine, and creating space for the baby to move freely. Particular attention is placed on breathing.
Yoga aids in relieving fatigue, backache and indigestion. It improves circulation, breathing and quietens the nervous system.
Class cost is $25 casually, and use of Standard class passes also welcome (10-classes for $210). All bookings need to be made online through PunchPass.
