Casual Iyengar Yoga Classes

Casual yoga classes do not require bookings and are run daily throughout the year, excepting Easter Friday - Sunday and the Christmas - New Year period.

Our beginners’ casual classes are designed for those who have no previous experience of yoga and are suitable for people of all ages, and all levels of fitness.

Pre-natal Yoga

Regular yoga is an ideal way to enjoy a healthy pregnancy and help develop a calmness of mind and a sense of well-being. Our pre-natal yoga classes are one-and-a-half hours, and no booking is required. All yoga props, including mats and blankets are supplied, but you may bring your own yoga mat if you wish. There are change rooms at the studio.

Note - Iyengar yoga is not appropriate for women between the eighth and eleventh weeks of pregnancy.

Private Yoga Classes

Private yoga instruction by appointment. Work one-on-one with an instructor to develop your individual practice.

Cost

Casual classes cost $20 or $17 for concession holders. Blocks of 11 classes are available for $180, with 1 class expiring if not used within 3 months, and the remainder expiring in 1 year.

Are you New to Yoga?

Our 10-week beginners’ courses commence at the start of each school term, and systematically introduce some of the basic yoga postures. Each class begins with poses to stretch and loosen the body, followed by some more vigorous poses, and concludes with relaxation.
