Beginners Iyengar Yoga
A 10-week course is the ideal way to start yoga. No previous experience necessary. There are several casual beginner classes running during each term for those who wish to begin yoga mid term.
Level 1 Iyengar Yoga
For those who have completed a Beginners Course or equivalent experience. Consolidates Beginners Course poses.
Level 2 Introductory Iyengar Yoga
A transition course to level 2, introducing handstand and headstand and strengthening asana practice.
Level 2 & Level 3 - casual classes only
Level 2 is generally for students with 12 - 18 months experience. Includes headstand, handstand and backbends, a wider range of twists and forward bends, and pranayama.
Level 3 is for experienced students with their own regular practice, including inverted pose cycles and balancings.
Iyengar Yoga Teacher Training
Our Iyengar yoga teacher-training program extends over a two-year period. After the two-year period, an optional third year of apprenticeship will be available.
The program prepares students for the BKS Iyengar Yoga Associations assessment procedures. Full details are available at BKS Iyengar Yoga Association.
