Workshops and Intensives help consolidate and improve your yoga. Intensives are daily classes run over 4 or 5 days and are designed to be used as stepping stones toward a higher level, or to develop a more regular and consistent yoga practice. We run the intensives during term breaks so they will not interfere with the courses. The next set of intensives will be in the week beginning 12th April - see below.
Upcoming Workshop
Weekend Workshop with International Yoga Teacher and Catholic Archdiocesan Priest of Mumbai, Father Joe Pereira
Father Joe has been practicing and working with BKS Iyengar over the last 40 years. This workshop marks Father Joe's first visit to Australia and will be conducted on the 13th & 14th March.
- 9 - 12pm Asana (Saturday & Sunday)
- 1 - 3pm Pranayama (Saturday and Sunday)
The workshop is open to students with at least six months yoga experience. The cost is $150 for both days, or $100 for one day. Spaces are limited and booking is highly recommended. The full workshop price includes free entry to a Friday night evening talk and Q&A at St Peter's Hall, 15 Gisborne Street, East Melbourne (12th March, starting at 7.30pm).
Upcoming Intensives
Please note that the Beginners/Level 1 and the Level 1/Intro Level 2 intensives run in the morning. The Level 2/Level 3 intensive will run in the evenings. Casual attendance and make-up classes are welcome at the intensives (provided the intensive is not fully booked).
