Clifton Hill Yoga Studio offers on-site yoga teaching, where we come to your workplace, sports club, school, hospital - or wherever suits you.
We love teaching yoga and believe that the benefits of a regular yoga practice should be accessible to everyone. By taking yoga on the road we aim to bring feelings of strength, vitality, improved concentration and a sense of wellbeing to people's lives more regularly.
It's easy to get our experienced and certified Iyengar Yoga teachers set up to teach at your place. All we need is a spare area (usually a meeting room) that is available for an agreed amount of time (commonly 50 - 55 mins) at the same time each week.
We offer:
- the first class free
- all the mats and equipment
- the same high quality of teaching you get in the Clifton Hill Yoga Studio
- insurance
We already run successful on-site yoga classes with a variety of groups, from people who wear suits in big corporations and legal firms in Melbourne's CBD, to sports enthusiasts at their clubs and even teenagers at school. That's the great thing about yoga - it can be flexible to meet the needs of your group. Many of our teachers come from corporate or government backgrounds, and know how to tailor a class to meet the needs of cubicle dwellers!
Interested? Give us a call and we'll have a chat about how to get started. We'll come and see you or your HR team to gauge:
- potential student numbers (we can provide materials to help drum up interest)
- a suitable space and time each week
- the initial date and duration of classes
- pricing options
Prices will vary depending on the number of students, distance travelled and requested length of each class. We have several pricing structures, from fully subsidised by the organisation, part subsidised, or no subsidy where each student pays individually. After the initial free class we run sessions in a minimum of 5 week blocks.
Yoga is a near perfect fitness routine (we know we're biased, but it's true!). When you practice yoga regularly you will find an increase in mental and physical health. Through a series of poses, starting with the more physical before leading into restorative and relaxing poses, yoga actively intercepts stress patterns - which makes it perfect for the workplace.
