Teacher Profiles

Marina

Marina Jung trained at the Iyengar Yoga Institute London. She has been teaching yoga for over 20 years and holds a Senior Intermediate Level Two Iyengar teaching certificate. Marina has been teaching workshops nationally and internationally in Europe and New Zealand for many years. Formerly running teacher training programmes and personal development in Western Australia, she is currently conducting the teacher training programme at Clifton Hill Yoga Studio.

Rosie

Rosie Hallinan worked as a health industry professional and still teaches yoga in the workplace.

Vaughan

Vaughan Allan has practised yoga since 1995. He holds an Art degree in photography and has travelled extensively. Vaughan also runs his own yoga studio in Greensborough.

Patrick

Patrick has been practising yoga for 14 years and teaching since 2001.He has studied with the Iyengars in Pune along with senior Teachers in Australia. For the last 10 years Patrick has worked full time as a Naturopath and Remedial Massage Therapist. This experience, along with his yoga practice, help him to communicate with yoga students how to work intelligently to avoid the common problems he treats daily.

Lee

Lee Brennan began practising yoga at the Iyengar Yoga Institute in London in 2001. He completed his teacher training between 2004 and 2007 in Melbourne with Frank Jesse. Lee still works part time specialising in ethically focused investing.

Carolyn

Carolyn McDonald began practising Yoga in 1998 and completed her teacher training with Frank Jesse at Clifton Hill Yoga Studio. She continues to nurse part-time and is a First Aid Trainer.

Tim

Tim Bosworth gave up corporate life in Melbourne to become a yoga teacher. He started practising in 2000, initially to combat injuries caused by football and running. The football, running and injuries are gone; but the yoga still burns strong.

Alan

Alan Talbot worked as a professional accountant. He began practising yoga in 1983 to recover from marathon and rugby injuries. He has been to India and the Himalayas many times. Yoga has changed his life. 

Christine

Chris Nathan began practising yoga in 1996 and undertook teacher training with Frank Jesse and Mark Gibson in 2004. She has studied in Pune with the Iyengars which greatly inspired her practice. She also works part-time as a Counsellor for refugees suffering trauma.

 

Marina, Rosie, Vaughan, Alan, Tim, Christine, Carolyn, Patrick and Lee are all certified yoga teachers by the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute (RIMYI) in Pune, India.
